an ultra-effective yet gentle formula of 5% benzoyl peroxide

benzoyl peroxide gel (BP) helps to calm inflamed acne, reduce oil production and prevent new acne formation. the peroxide helps to kill excess bacteria, reducing inflammation. it also helps dry up excess oil, allowing for the active ingredients in your regimen to penetrate deeper and work better. 

we find most folks don’t need BP to clear up, but if after 4-6 weeks of our classic regimen your acne is still stubbornly inflamed or your skin is still very oily, using it can be a great help.

directions: 

for use all over the face: most skin types can use this at night, after washing, icing and toning. a layer of hydrating gel before or after the BP can help ease any acclimation dryness that may occur from wearing this all over the face, all night.  

for use as a spot treatment: use a cotton swab to carefully and sparingly apply where needed, no more than twice daily. 

warnings:

take care to use only hydrating gel with BP; creams and lotions keep the BP from working its best. 

BP bleaches, so wash your hands thoroughly after using it and be mindful when using colored fabric towels, sheets and shirts.
